Far across the sea from Amaurot lies the ancient fae lands of Aes Sidhe.In the distant past, these lands were once wild and untamable; the magic a threat to the star itself. It wasn't until the mysterious appearance of the powerful Queen Mab did the land settle and the fae emerge.Far older than anyone knows, Mab rules Aes Sidhe with grace, love and a playfulness unique to the fae.Mab's origins are unknown to modern Amaurotines. But some researchers have found a corralation between the time of her appearance and the disappearance of a previous Azem. Moreover, the true name of this "Lost Azem" has been completely scrubbed from the archives and any one who would have known it has long been returned to the Star.The Final Days
The sickness that plagued the land seemed to be fast approaching the kingdom. Desperate for a solution, Mab traveled to Amaurot to beseech them for aid. While on her diplomatic mission, word came that the Final Days had arrived and in Mab's absence, Aes Sidhe had fallen.Grief-stricken, Mab was forced to remain in Amaurot, lest a powerful enchantress such as she be lost. But despite all efforts, the Final Days arrived in Amaurot.The Sundering
Mab refused to be part of either the summoning of Zodiark nor Hydaelyn. She believed that such gods only served the Amaurotines and could not bring her lands back to how they were. PersonalityMab is as mysterious as she is powerful. She appears boisterous and playful; not taking anything too seriously. She isn't afraid to flirt either. Whether it is to lure someone to their doom or into her bed is unclear.However, she will not stand to be slighted nor insulted. She will not hesitate to transform you into a tree if she saw fit.Largely, she dislikes Amaurot and Amaurotines. She believes them to be too stuffy and does not believe they have any right to interfere with the affairs of the Star at large. While the fae were initially her creation, she has allowed the creatures to breed and produce naturally, taking no steps to curate their creation. Conversely, Amaurot feels her hands off approach in curating the denizens of her kingdom is dangerous and could eventually become a threat.Amaurot has also spread rumors about Mab and the fae, claiming she will kidnap you from your home to make you one of her own forever. While largely false, there have been those who have answered a siren-like call from across the sea...Relationships
One such Amaurotine she lured away from her homeland was Nyx. Unlike so many others before her, Nyx was able to traverse the fae wilds, albeit with some help from a mysterious red bird who showed her the way.Mab, having ruled over the lands for eons, realized she could no longer rule on her own. She needed someone who would share in her power and to split her court between them. After seeing Nyx brave the wilds, Mab fell deeply in love, taking her for her wife. However, before she could enact her plan, the Final Days had come and Nyx had been presumed lost.Abilities
